Prerequisites for a CCTV Installation

- CCTV recorder:
Let's start with the recorder. The recorder is the brain of our installation. It is responsible for collecting all the images captured by the cameras. We usually distinguish three types of CCTV recorders:
4 in 1 recorders: for use of digital cameras (TVI, CVI and AHD) and analog cameras. They usually have 4, 8 or 16 outputs
5 in 1 recorders: for the use of the previous technologies plus some additional IP output. Normally they are 4, 8 or 16 outputs + 2 IP inputs
- CCTV cameras
The cameras are the body of our installation, indispensable obviously to be able to record the desired images. There is a wide variety of cameras. But we can differentiate them on the one hand according to where we are going to place them and on the other depending on the technology.
- Power supplies for CCTV cameras
For a CCTV camera to work properly, it will require a feeder. If this power source the security camera would not even turn on. The most normal thing is that the CCTV cameras do not include the feeder, and these are sold separately.
- Cable for CCTV Camera and connectors
Once we have all the above, it is time to connect it. It's time to choose the most suitable wiring or that best suits your needs. CCTV cables are chosen according to the need.
