The emergence of CCTV camera industry in India

India is a developing country with its own set of problems. The growing population, lack of employment opportunities, poverty, and corruption are just a few of the many issues that surface in our motherland. Such factors along with lack of proper education facilities often make people choose the path of crime or engage in antisocial activities. At one point of time, the crime rate in India was alarmingly high, and people do not use to feel safe even at their homes, nor were they able to entrust their valuables to be safe at their home in their absence.

The incidence of theft and robbery were prevalent to hear about in every part of India. The grief does not end here, even if people were able to catch the culprits, there was no way to prove in the courtroom that the alleged culprits are the real offenders. All these problems were taking place along with the development of closed-circuit security camera technology (CCTV) devices. Once introduced to the public, the products were selling successfully in every part of the country with buyers ranging from a small shop owner to large organizations owing to the more significant value they create and the amount of relief they offer to the people by removing their safety and monitoring concerns.

It is a typical scenario that people use network camera for home and work premises. The presence of CCTV camera became a reason for the reduction in crime rate in India as criminals now hesitate to attempt to trespass any property once they get a glimpse of these devices.

The footage caught by CCTV camera helped in solving criminal cases by recording the criminal incident and by assisting in the identification of criminals as well as by the CCTV footage being acting as a valid proof for proving the case against the offenders in the courtroom. At the same time, people now have a monitoring facility in the form of a closed circuit camera.
